DailyLock is a Wizeb app, made by WebCastle Media Pvt Ltd, which is responsible for this policy. Questions: replock@wizeb.com.
Short version: the DailyLock app doesn't collect anything. There's no account, no server, and no analytics in the app. Everything it knows stays on your phone. This website uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand visits; see This website.
The camera
During a workout, camera frames go straight into on-device body-pose detection (Apple Vision on iPhone, Google ML Kit on Android) so DailyLock can count your reps. Frames are never saved, recorded, or sent anywhere. The camera turns off when you leave the workout screen.
Screen Time (iPhone)
DailyLock uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to lock the apps you choose. Apple only gives DailyLock opaque tokens for those apps, so we can't see which apps they are, and we never see your usage data. None of it leaves your device.
Accessibility service (Android)
On Android, DailyLock locks apps using Android's Accessibility Service API, which you turn on yourself. DailyLock uses it to see the name of the app that's opening, so it can cover the apps you chose with its lock screen until your moves are done. If you turn on Lockdown, while you're locked it also checks Settings screens for the ones that would uninstall, force stop or turn off DailyLock.
DailyLock does not read, store or send your messages, passwords, or anything else you type or see. Nothing it observes is saved or leaves your phone. You can turn the service off at any time in Settings › Accessibility.
To show the list of apps you can lock, DailyLock reads the apps installed on your phone that appear in your launcher. That list is only used on your phone.
Purchases
DailyLock Pro and emergency unlocks are paid through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment; DailyLock never sees your card or account details, only whether a purchase went through.
What's stored on your phone
- Your daily moves and targets
- Today's rep counts
- Which days you completed (for your streak)
- Your settings, such as Lockdown and reminders
Delete the app and all of it is gone.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. There's no push server.
This website
replock.wizeb.com uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (run by Google) and Microsoft Clarity (run by Microsoft) to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and how they use them. They set cookies and collect standard visit information such as pages viewed, clicks and scrolling, referring site, approximate location, and device and browser type. We use this only to improve the site. It isn't linked to the app, and nothing from the app is ever sent to it. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or Google's opt-out add-on.
Children
DailyLock is meant for people managing their own phone. It doesn't knowingly collect data from anyone, because it doesn't collect data at all.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will be updated first and the app will tell you before anything new is collected.
